I celebrated my birthday yesterday in this excellent restaurant. I am glad to say that we had a fantastic evening and the restaurant was clearly one of the reasons for this strong event. The stuff collaborated in a lovely manner, the cooking was very good and my friends were very joyful. We shall definitely come back again for more events. thanks very much.
Breakfast came with my room reservation, it was delicious. Eggs bacon and home fries. Asked for bacon well done and they did Not disappoint.
Nice atmosphere and service in the beautiful Emerson Inn. The menu and food were a bit underwhelming.
The breakfast was absolutely tasteful and fulfilling. The fruit was very fresh.
Historic Emerson Inn's restaurant. Don't know if tavern is the correct title as there is only a small bar separate from the dining area. Dining room is a large single room with scattered tables and chairs that are meant to get you up after an hour (uncomfortable). Small menu featuring some nice preparations executed tastefully. We enjoyed, a cheese board with jam and honey placed directly on the board, would have preferred small vessels of these accompaniments. Salmon won tons, NY strip, and Scallops. Nothing visually spectacular but the flavors where on point. Very small wine list. Seasonal place April-October.
