Food was excellent. Despite being extremely busy with multiple birthdays and other gatherings we were seating within 15 minutes and the food didn't take too long to receive either. Our waitress was extremely busy but she stayed friendly and was very professional. Seems like a well oiled machine and I'm definitely going to be coming back. So many excellent food options on the menu. If you like BBQ you must try this place. It is a bit loud, but the atmosphere and charm of the place works with it. I imagine soon you'll likely be able to play volleyball in their sand pit as well. Definitely seems like the place to be if you need to entertain guests or just want a good bite to eat in town from a local business.

We were a group of 6 to celebrate a birthday, but our guest of honor was nearly a half hour late. Our waitress, Lizzy, was very patient with our circumstances and kept our drinks fresh while we waited. She was very friendly as she took our orders, brought our food, followed up to see if our orders were correct, and brought our checks in a timely manner! All 6 of us think that she is a great waitress and we will ask for her on future visits.

Ethyl’s was recommended by some of our party that have been here previously. The service was excellent and server did a great job with our large party. Food preparation and taste are our issues. Saloon Steak had been enjoyed previously by members of family, this night however many ordered it and did not eat more than one bite. My wife and I had Philly Cheese Steak which we only ate half of the meal due to it being too greasy. Will we give Ethyl’s another chance - not for a while.

Pleasant atmosphere, but... started with the kettle chips. They had so much season salt they were not edible. Told the waitress, she did nothing. When our order arrived, my husband received baked beans instead of onion rings. About half way into my smoked catfish saw it was raw. Told the waitress, she offered to replace it but I was not interested by this point. Paid full price on my first and last visit. I had heard so many good things about Ethel’s. Very disappointed.

Large venue, tables well spaced. Great place to gather with friends and family. This is one of our favorites in the county. Bbq nachos are hard to pass up, brisket always hits the spot and most recently I tried the smoked wings, awesome. Great service, locally owned. Support our small businesses.
