This spot obviously knows how to treat their customers. Constantly with a very welcoming approach. The food is fairly priced, always yummy and neat.

In our mixed-up world, it’s so rare to have one’s expectations exceeded … “T” at The General Store did so in royal fashion. While certainly off the beaten track, I live in the Baltimore/Washington area and I would go out-of-my-way again and again to dine at this extraordinary eatery.nnAside from being served by an exceptional, knowledgeable, and friendly staff (ask for Susan), the Oyster Stew was, by far, the absolute best that I have ever eaten … next time I’m going to make a meal of this delicious chowder alone. Sticking with a seafood preference, the “T” takes Shrimp and Grits to a new plateau … the shrimp were prepared perfectly and the spicy sauce is to die for.nnI strongly recommend that you fill up the car with friends you want to impress, drive across the Bay Bridge, and get ready to enjoy an eating experience fit for kings.

The blueberry pancakes were wonderful. The server was very nice. Tea was fabulous and very hot. We will be back. Visited 2019 june.

What a quaint and quiet spot to relax! Great customer service and food. My husband got the special filet and I got the special lamb rack. Both were cooked perfectly and the seasoning was spot on. The decor is hip and modern. We were offered a free dessert which was very nice of them to do. Even though it is in the middle of nowhere make the drive over, you won’t be disappointed. There is also a fab antique store across the street.
