Went in 2 weeks ago specifically being asked to be tested for strep. I’m immediately put back in a room and Dr. Le tells them to test me for Covid-19. I assure her it’s not covid and that I be tested for strep. Covid test comes back negative and she tells me I have an upper respiratory and to just take Tylenol each day. 8 days later I have a rash appear all over my stomach and back. I return to urgent care for Dr. matti fly to diagnose me with strep.nDr. Le was careless and not at all attentive to me, the patient.

Every person that dealt with us was annoyed to deal with humans. Seriously the worst customer service and no compassion. Worse than generic cereal. Go somewhere else. We were the only patients there so their poor care and customer service was because they are rude and lazy.

Care was good, and Lynn, the x-ray tech was awesome!nnHowever, I used the online check-in as requested by the website and sat in the parking lot for 1 hour as the text instructed. Finally phoned and was told that they were waiting on me. Once I came in the office, the receptionist informed me that the online system does NOT secure your place in line, DOES NOT transfer the information provided and required everything be repeated on hand-written forms, nor does it notify the office that you are waiting. Her frustration was evident as well.nI will avoid FMH Urgent Care in the future.

There was No door check for Covid symptoms. The nurse wanted to take my temperature after waiting for a good long while, orally. She wanted me to take my mask off. I understand there would be times when you’d have to lower your mask for the doctor but why make everyone do it unnecessarily? Get a laser temp reader. Not a good vibe in this location in any sense.

The service I received was so minimal, I can’t say it was worth of it. I recently had a pretty extensive 2nd degree burn. On day9, I decided to find an Urgent Care nearby due to it was a weekend. No masks on staff. A PA tried to put a thermometer in my mouth for temperature. I was mortified. I don’t go to doctors often and have not seen this kind of instrument for ages, especially in the middle of COVID pandemic !!! Even I have an electronic temporalScanner at home that doesn’t require a physical contact. I refused. The PA didn’t take my temperature and went away. Then an assistant doctor came in (no licensed MD on duty). A very nice young man. He took a look the wounds without taking out the medical pad I had put on prior, gave me a prescription for an antibiotic topical and a referral for a D.O. Then he had nurse came in to wrap up with a gauze and sent me away. I expected at least they would clean the wounds and apply whatever necessary topicals and do it professionally. Nothing of the sort. Even the CVS Minute Clinic cleaned for me when I visited there a few days earlier. I never been to an Urgent Care. I’d expect it is like a mini ER in the hospital. Not so. I guess my expectation was a little too high ud83dude1c. I wonder what a best practice for a Urgent Care should be?
