I tried to reach a friend of mine who was inpatient here multiple times. Staff at the desk were unhelpful bordering on rude and would only transfer me to a phone that was never answered. On my last attempt it rang for 15+ minutes with no answer and staff refuse to pass along a message to patients to call you back when they have time to make it easier to get in contact with them. In short if you're thinking of trying to contact a friend or loved one in here then good luck because the only thing you are going to get on the phone is a rude answer followed by an infinite ringtone.

I was a patient in the trauma program in June 2020 thru July 2020. I came all the way from Chicago, IL for the program. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ellis the social worker helped me process a lot. The other social workers ran very informative groups. The unit was clean. The only downside was the food wasn't very good all the time. This was usually the case during the weekends where food wasn't always appealing. The techs gave me feedback and were nice to talk to if I was upset and needed to process with them. This program really helped me get to a better place in my life and for that I'm forever grateful.

In the adolescents unit they would not change the sheets for each person, we were constantly yelled at by staff and staff grabbed my roommate by her shirt because she was mad at her. Had a breakdown and was told that I was being a spoiled dramatic brat and afterwards group therapy was starting and was told by staff that I cant talk about what the staff had said. staff was awful, i only liked the person who did art therapy and group therapy. food was okay but not the best. I do not recommend. two patients had escaped and staff did not really care.

i was in the adolescent unit about a year ago. i met amazing people there, the food wasn’t bad, i was still doing school & a lot of the staff there were so kind & helpful. there were some incidents where i feel like something else could’ve happened to prevent something bad happening but overall i liked it.

I was in patient and they don’t treat you like you are a human. As soon as you signed the 72 hour hold you were a child. You couldn’t even have your own pillow. I was off prescribed nerve pain medication for 4 days until the last day I was there it was approved for one dose. They also immediately write against medical advice even though it’s not even the right program for you.
