The Malt Shop is an iconic piece of Natchez history. I've only lived in Mississippi since 1987 - but every time I visit Natchez (I live in Vicksburg) I try to stop for a shake or malt. I haven't really tried their food but it's obviously really popular because they always seem to be busy. The people are always friendly - even though they are working like crazy all the time. The malts and shakes are fantastic. I definitely recommend this place. It's like stepping back in time.

Great Malts. I ordered the real banana. It was great but one thing. They put real banana in it which is awesome however, the straw wasn't thick enough for it so it was a constant battle over the bananas lol. Just need ticker straws. Other than that it's really great for malts and shakes

Got order wrong twice and forgot kids order completely. Burger looked horrid.

Had the Beef barbeque sandwich. It was pretty good. Prices were reasonable. the malt shake was off the chain good. I will eat there again before going back to NC.
