My overall experience was awful. I asked the owner a couple questions about plant care and he started getting nasty with me. I decided to go somewhere else with nicer people. He yelled at me about wasting his time the whole way out of the building and actually followed me to my car. The store is overpriced and the owner needs to improve his customer service skills. Will not go back or recommend to any friends or family. If I could give less stars I would.

In The Garden is my favorite place to shop in Pittsburg! They consistently have a huge selection and wide variety of anything I'm looking for - house plants, seeds, trees, succulents, pots, fertilizer, etc! I can always find everything I need right here. Their staff members are amazing as well! Full of knowledge and will answer any questions you may have. I've gained a ton of plant knowledge from the staff here just by asking a few questions and having conversations with them every time I stop in. I truly feel that they want you to be a successful gardener and plant parent! For example, I brought home a Calathea house plant one weekend and it immediately started wilting after I repotted it. I messaged In The Garden asking what could possibly be wrong and they offered to take a look at it the very next day! I brought the plant in and it was determined that it had transplant shock. Sure enough, within a week the plant perked back up! I was super thankful they offered to help. I will continue to be a returning customer!ud83dudc9a

Best local shop around! Has the nicest most knowledgeable owner and staff around. I've been to other shops around and they have the best prices too! Would definitely recommend!

A nice variety in plants and trees. Also a nice variety of concrete statuary and pots. And since it's October and time to plant garlic, I found two different varieties of garlic bulbs for planting.
