I’m a student in high school and needed a checking account setup. My mom and I visited this branch and had a pretty embarrassingly terrible experience. My mom had called several times throughout the day because apparently this branch requires an appointment to setup a student checking account. Yes, you have to create an appointment ahead of time (like it’s the doctors office) to create an account which takes 30 minutes to an hour at most. This wouldn’t be a problem for us if it wasn’t for the fact they never once picked up the phone. So, we arrived at about 4pm and asked the two tellers working the counter about creating the account. The first thing they said was about needing the appointment to which we explained they never picked up the phone. We were then told that they only had the two of them working and that when they get busy they may not have time to answer the phone. We then tried to compromise a few more options, but we were told “No” and only that to most, if not all of the things we said. The best thing they could do for us was to schedule an appointment nearly a whole week away. This is about the time we were ready to walk out when we found out that the branch manager was working the teller counter. Trust me it’s just as ridiculous as you think. We then went to the location on Watson and had a completely opposite experience. I’d like to thank Bo Beck for flipping my opinion of bb&t and being extremely helpful. The Watson location is better in every aspect, especially customer service and I personally recommend to stay away from the Byron branch and stick to the one on Watson.

Says you close today at 5 I have been calling for the last 30 minutes no one answers the phone

Just cam from Watson location because the atm was down. Just to find out this atm is down also. Garbage service
