I respect the approach of having you walk, so the sales staff can see normal foot rotations, etc. They recommend shoes based on their findings. I would not have chosen the shoe I purchased if I had walked in. I am so happy I trusted their advice. My running has been enjoyable... well as much as running can be.
My daughter lives in Salem and is training for her first 1/2 marathon. I was visiting and took her in to be properly fitted for shoes and was beyond impressed by the level of knowledge and service provided. I just wish they had stores in California! Our local running stores pale in comparison.
I love this store because it has something for everyone. I could not afford a pair of Brooks shoes at the time so I choose from the used table. They were still new but at a price I could afford. I had plantar fascia and needed Brooks shoes to help my feet and they did. Now that I can afford a pair of new Brooks I will only go to the Running Company to purchase them. The staff was very helpful also. He knew I was out of my league because I was not a runner but That made him help me even more. Awesome store!
Just purchased a perfect pair of trail running shoes. The staff at Greater Boston Running could not have been more helpful. They are knowledgeable and friendly and willing to answer even the silliest of questions!! Pam was the best!! I would recommend them to anyone.
