I live in Beverly 2 mins away from the Beverly hospital and refuse to take my child to that hospital. This is the best children's hospital I've ever visited. I stood overnight because my daughter had rsv and let me tell you all nurses and doctors are caring and were on top of my child's wellbeing. I never had to call any nurse or doctor for anything. I am in love on how this doctors work and their overall dedication and patience.

Disappointed and will never return to this hospital. Staff is a mixed bag, the only saving grace I saw in this place was Dr. Ian Thornley. He is the kind of doctor who you want your child to see. We came in just before a shift change, and within an hour of being discharged (by a different doctor, I'll omit her name) my child was struggling to breath again. She never should have discharged him with those stats. This time we went directly to Boston Children's, which is what we should have done in the first place. He was admitted overnight. This place is a poor representation of Mass General.

Initial emergency room via ambulance transport care and follow up was right on target professionally and with skill and familiarity . Upon being admitted and transported to this somewhat locked seperated wing , things went downhill after awhile when I was informed that a family member could not sit thru part of the late night with distressed patient due to hospital visiting hours policy . The fact that we had to leave mother alone because not allowed to stay with patient after visiting hours (unless patient is in private room ). Because I was confused and un-grounded as a result of crisis leading up to hospitalization , I accepted hospital policy and left hospital feeling powerless and disappointed. I felt that I was abandoning my elderly mother seemingly to strangers in a strange place . Uggghh !! Our hands were tied due to the immediate need for family member to receive intravenous infection .nnPS: Not the visiting policy of affiliated Partners MGH facility .

My 2 month old daughter was in the hospital over Mother's Day weekend with a bacterial infection. I'm a first time mother and to say that I was scared and nervous is an understatement. The care that we received from both the doctors and the nurses was amazing. They kept us informed and made us feel as comfortable as we could be, being in our situation. I would recommend this hospital to anyone that asks. Dr. Chen and nurse Katie were among our favorites. They made sure we never were in need and made us feel confident that she would be good as new, within their care!

Worst place to go for an emergency, you’re better off going to Beverly
