Beware a deck reservation may land you inside at the bar. I made a reservation for the deck for lunch on a warm, sunny day, but when we arrived we were offered only an inside table near the bar because the deck was full. The bar was hot, stuffy, and no view like the deck has. After waiting about 15 minutes without anyone asking for our order we noticed a table opening on the deck so we asked for it. We waited another 15 minutes for them to set it up. Much nicer to eat outside on the deck. Waiter was good once he took our order. Food was uneven, two of us ordered the special salad and I added shrimp. Strangely there was a large glob of jam under the greens, which we both just left on the plate with some soggy greens on top. Fish tacos were fresh, and my other friend ordered blackened chicken sandwich and really liked it. If you can sit on the deck on a warm day it's worth it. You wont be six feet from all other tables though.

The positives are lovely restaurant, great bar, great service, excellent mussel starter. The negatives the shrimp and broccoli pasta was a bit bland and I expected shrimp that were grilled. Instead the shrimp were good just not grilled. The chocolate brownie sundae was more cake than brownie. There was not enough ice cream but it wasn't very good ice cream so maybe that is a positive. There was way too much whipped cream and marshmallow. Just a bit sad the meal started off great and the rest didn't live up to my expectations.

Stopped by for a mid-afternoon lunch. Great ocean view from the roof top deck. I ordered the lobster roll and was astounded by the large amount of lobster used for the order. Nice friendly staff. I cannot wait to bring friends and family to this restaurant. We have been regulars at the big name restaurant next door. If I am in the area, Mission on the Bay will be my first stop.

An excellent eating experience. Food is really delicious: salads, pasta, grilled dishes, everything you want from the menu. Plenty of seafood lunch/dinner ideas, great combinations.nI love their Mission Margarita, or the apple cider.

Went for lunch on a rainy wednesday. Sat up stairs. They had a covered patio. Pretty busy for lunch on a wednesday. Server was great. Food came out quickly. Fisherman's platter could probably fees 3 people. Wife got fish tacos which were also great. Definitely coming back when the Rona is over to have drinks with a view.
