After my most recent encounter at Apple, I am extremely happy with my decision to never buy another Apple product again. I was there to exchange a gift that a family member gave me. I first checked online to make a reservation - there were none. I then called the store and spoke with a staff member the day before I came in to exchange the gift. I was told to come in since it was a swap and I had the receipt.nnI came to the Apple store, explained what I'd been told, and preceded to wait. The young man who checks people in at the front desk was rude, did not ask to see my receipt, assumed he knew what I needed but assumed incorrectly, did not listen to me when I explained what I needed, and then proceeded to get who I presume was the manager. This individual was at least respectful, listened, and understood what I was asking. However, he could not help because it is now apparently the policy of Apple to not do exchanges. I was told they could give me store credit for the returned item and I would probably have to pay the difference if the prices changed (this item was still in the window for an exchange by the way). I left frustrated and gave the item back to the family member who purchased the gift for me to exchange. She was told the same thing and in the end, asked for a full refund to the card she was charged and gave the product back.nnThe entire experience was frustrating and felt shady. I have a Mac and am afraid of what to do if I need help with it. It's evident I can't go to this location to get help. If someone shows up with a receipt and an unopened item in the return window time frame, and the item they need is physically in the store, I don't understand the foolishness with needing to return the item, get store credit, then come back in 30 minutes as I was told, rebuy the same item at what could potentially be a different price (this according to the staff). If the new policy is no exchanges ever, only store credit, that should be stated somewhere. Clearly this can't really be the case because they were able to give a refund. I've never had a great experience at Apple stores and that will be my last interaction with buying their products.

This store has been horrible with accommodating during the winter storms. I got to this store door at 7:05 pm due to traffic from my area I literally got to the door and they told me to come back the next day, which was a snow storm and I live almost 40 miles away. I was told later they could have shipped my repair directly to my house but Instead I am chasing their store hours during this winter mess. No sympathy what so ever. It has been 2 weeks of off and on weather and I still don’t have my laptop because I can’t get back out this store that I only used bc the pentagon was closed. Call customer care, tell them to allow you to ship your repair to them and have them ship it back!! I was totally misled and I’m still disappointed.

Poor customer service, all i wanted was to physically see 2 watch configurations built on line to see which physical configuration best meets my requirements. I was advised that could not be accomplished without using there appointment web site which they said had not available appointments.

Horrible. Didn't get much help with my new product and was shown the door with a phone appointment, which accomplished little. Was told I had features but they either didn't exist or work correctly. Was promised a phone follow up with store manager to address issues and made myself available at set times, then they did not call. Arrogant and dismissive. Go elsewhere.

Let me in and told me to stand and wait. I was waiting for around 30 minutes, while there were sales associates walking around doing nothing. Nobody once came up to me to at least update me how much longer it will take. I have never left a review on any store, let alone a 1 star. But this was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced so I had to do it. Now I know what store to stay away from.
