What I came for: I had a hankering for sushi, but didn’t want to spend too much on it. I also wanted to feel full after eating it for the price I paid. I had never been to Sakura before, but decided to give it a try.nnWhat I Got: Spicy California Roll, Spicy Crunch Shrimp roll, Avocado RollnnMy Experience: Highly Recommend.nOverall, I was very impressed with the sushi here. It was made fresh in front of you, very chill ambiance, and safety precautions taken. The restaurant is hibachi-style (think Benihana). They give 8 pieces per roll, which is substantial for the price ($4-$6 per roll), especially compared to other sushi places in the area. 2 rolls is definitely enough to get you full. The spice in both rolls was understated, so if you’re not into spice, it will taste delicious. If you want something with more kick to where you feel the spice, it might not be for you. They give you a nice serving of soy sauce, which you won’t need much of because the taste of the salt really comes through strong.nnTip: I would order ahead for pickup to cut down on the wait time, though.

There is so much I can say about this place. Let’s start off with the lack of staffing. There is 2 waitress in the whole restaurant poor thing running around forgetting stuff because she can’t manage it all. It was such a delay almost 1 hour. before soup or salad. The food is HORRIBLE. That’s the only way to put it. We got salmon, steak, lobster and shrimp. All were way over cooked & extra chewy. The steak was well done but super well black as ever all I taste was burnt flavor. The lobster & shrimp were hard and chewy. Overall very disappointing. If I could rate ZERO stars I would ud83eudd74

DO NOT GO! OVER BOOK UNDER STAFF. 30 MINUTES JUST TO TAKE THE ORDER OWNER JUST TRYING TI MAKE MONEY. I FEEL BAD FOR THE STAFF. Except an hour and a half for for dinner. Two chefs for the whole restraunt even though the owner says it's four.

Restaurant is NOT doing live cooking at your table do to COVID. We were only told this after the food was brought to the table, making it too late to just leave. And there is nothing on their website about it. This was very shady of the restaurant. They could have told us when we made the reservation, or when they were seating us. The price we pay is not just for food, but for the experience, and this was not an experience I would ever pay for again.
