And that is quite a feat given the great restaurants and chefs to chose from in Virginia and the Washington DC metropolitan area. Devin and Katie Rose have established themselves as Virginia's best.

As a local I was excited to see a legitimate chef opening a restaurant in the area. It took a while but I was finally able to get a night out with my wife and this was the one place we wanted to try. The experience starts off with the atmosphere. We had a seat right in front of the kitchen widow and could see the chef working his magic. Started with cocktails and a rockfish dip that was amazing. Honestly it could have ended there and the experience would of been one for the books. However it didn't end there, it just got better and better. My wife ordered the New York strip and I order the Fish and Chips. Both were phenomenal but I soon became envious of my wife's plate. She let me try it and it was the best piece of steak I've ever had on the Northern Neck. It was served with a black garlic sauce that was iresistable and I couldn't help but continuly dip my fries in it. My Fish and Chip we're no joke either but that Steak was life changing. If they ever bottle that black garlic sauce then I'll be giving it away at Birthday parties, Easter, and Christmas. It's that good! Great list of wine, cocktails, and beer as well. I topped everything off with a White Russian that in my opinion was perfect. This restaurant is the go to place for fine dining and is a must have experience whether you're a local or someone enjoying a visit to the Northern Neck. I can't wait to go back and in case you're still reading this, you guessed it, next time I'm ordering the steak!
