Velocity Wings Potomac Falls

I’m in town from California and I just had a delicious meal delivered to my hotel room. The wings were some of the best I’ve ever had and I ordered a side of broccoli. I expected it to be frozen, microwaved and soggy but it was fresh steamed broccoli done perfectly! And then the salad with chicken strips and bleu cheese was absolutely perfect! Thank you very much!

Rick and Chad are amazing. This restaurant is like having lunch with your neighbors. You can hear each other, comfortable dining experience, and superb food. Come hungry because the portions are more than ample. Definitely recommend.

Ordered 10 wings and steak and cheese egg rolls. What a ripoff. The “steak and cheese” egg rolls were hamburger in egg roll form and the cheese was a tiny thimble of nacho cheese sauce to dip them. The egg rolls were burned and the hamburger was dry inside. Awful. That’s not how they were described. Ordered 10 wings as well. Mild and BBQ. Wings came plain and not tossed in sauce. Instead I again had two tiny thimbles of sauce that barely covered two wings. I didn’t order take out wings to toss them myself. I also ordered blue cheese and got another tiny thimble of ranch. $40 plus tip for basically microwaved food where I had to do the work. Second time I’ve tried them and I won’t be trying them again. There are better wing places who actually want customers to frequent them. Take your business to another wing place and pass up velocity wings. They spam the review site with positive reviews to get the number up. Do not believe that. The food is a step above dog food. The good reviews are a lie.nnAddendum after the manager’s reply: In regards to the owners reply. Just stop. The wings and egg rolls were a disappointment. People seem to complain about the same thing. No sauce. That means your approach isn’t working. That means change it. You response within minutes proves you spam the site and attempt to counteract bad reviews. The cups are thimble size and barely have enough to cover two wings WHICH SHOULD COME SAUCED. My SECOND experience with this place. Both were bad. I always give a place a second chance before a bad review. Also , you need to call your steak and cheese egg rolls, hamburger egg rolls with cheese wiz in a cup. They’re not steak. At all.

Favorite spot in Northern Virginia. Amazing service staff. Always a smile. Very fun. I will continue to visit for years to come. Their wings are SUPERB!!!

The food was amazing! The only thing I would say about this place is that we asked to sit inside because it was kind of chilly out and then they sat us next to the giant opened garage door. They even had their hostess' warming their hands on a little space heater and they looked cold too. I guess you can't control the weather and had it been a nice summer day probably would have actually been fine, but in the fall when there are outdoor options too I'd close that door.
