My wife and I took my wife’s wedding ring to have a band attached for our 15 year anniversary. We were ensured by the receptionist they do they soldering there and do not send it away. They only give you a receipt for the work to be replaced and nothing else. After a week they called and told us that the ring was ready. Upon picking up the ring my wife asked them to read the diamond’s certified number inscription for verification. The jeweler said they cannot because they don’t have a microscope.nnThe jeweler asked for the diamond numbered and she did not give it to them (as common sense would dictate so they don’t just read it back to her without verifying the diamond). He then tried to tell my wife he did work for the mayor which we found irrelevant and made it clear as such.nnMy wife refused to accept and pay for the ring until they could read the diamond number. The jeweler, upset at the situation, had to go and get a microscope to verify it the diamond number. Finally after at least an hour the jeweler obtained a proper microscope and read the number off the diamond. My wife gladly paid and went about her business without ever being rude during the entire transaction.nnMy question is how can you do proper solder work AND be a respectful jeweler without basic equipment such as a microscope? It doesn’t matter whom you do work for because everyone is equally entitled to the same great quality work and service which was not provided. They will not be receiving our business again.

I have been bringing my ring in for cleaning and diamond replacements for a couple of years now and LOVE how well they take care of their customers! I have sent over so many friends and will continue to do so! The ladies at this jeweler are awesome. I had procrastinated on purchasing a 25th anniversary present for my wife since she was supposed to pick something out in Milan, Italy, but COVID-19 took care of that plan. I walked in 2 days before my anniversary to find a platinum band and they were able to identify what I was looking for and get it delivered just in time the next day. After giving it to my wife we discovered the ring was just a ½ size too small, they took it back and found a replacement immediately. So glad I went to this shop both to shop local and get personalized service. I would highly recommend Warrenton Jewelers to anyone.
