We ate both dinner here and then lunch the next day, it was that good. Staff was super friendly, wait was fine, and everything we had was delicious. BBQ chicken flatbread, Cuban, burrito, ice cream sandwich and beers. Wait was not long at all, but we also didn’t go at “peak” times. If you can nab a fire pit outside to sit at and drink a beer while you wait, that’s ideal. Thanks guys, will be back to visit next time for sure!

This is the Old Spruce in the Snowshoe village, same as Old Spruce Tavern. There is no indoor seating but they do have some chairs and fireplaces to sit at during the short wait. We went around dinner time and their service was still quick with delicious food. Highly recommend the Turkey Panini and pasta salad. I also got a boozy espresso hot chocolate, perfect to sip while waiting for food.

Beers decent., but bartender (03.27.2021) incredibly unfriendly and actually a bit rude. Very friendly with local workers, but not visitors. had exact same sentiment from friends staying at Snowshoe same weekend. After they told us bartender was unfriendly, not wort the visit, we still decided to stop and try a few beers. They were right, we will not be back. After trying to drag some conversation out of her, we checked out, left a nice tip (over 25%) and she literally did not say a word as we walked out. just bizarre. if she is miserable there, should get a job elsewhere. Shame that she is representing and the customer-facing face for what seems to be a decent local brewery.

Best food in Snowshoe village in my opinion :) Amazing sandwiches, soups, and beer selection! You really can't go wrong here.
