Had an appointment for 11:20am, which took more than a month to get scheduled. When I arrived, I was told I missed my 11am appointment. Someone at Sky Lakes had changed my appointment time but did not bother to call me and let me know. I have another appointment scheduled for more than a month out. So, essentially I'll be waiting two months for my PCP appointment.

I was very happy with my first appt. with Dr. Puffer who is my primary. My first appt. was in regards to a very bad UTI which left me in excruciating pain. Even though my lab results were not entirely conclusive I was prescribed and took the entire dose of antibiotics and felt immense relief over the next week. The UTI came back a week later due to the same circumstances that most likely had caused it before and I was then directed to Kara Callahan. Dr. Callahan was made aware of my history with UTIs which had previously been treatable without medication but had become more severe in the last year or two and notified me that my referral to see a urologist had been pending for over 2 weeks due to an insurance issue. Knowing that it could be over a month before I could see a urologist she refused to treat the issue with the knowledge that I had already missed several days of work and would be left in further debilitating pain. After asking for alternate solutions she simply suggested pain killers which have zero effect on a UTI once it has gotten to the level I am at. To leave a patient in that much pain because of your pseudo intellectual concerns about long term health (which would take years to create any noticeable lasting harm) is completely unethical.

If I was able to give it a zero star review I would but 1 is the best I can do. My appt. was scheduled for 3:30 pm I showed up at 3:15. Now mind you I’m literally only here to get a revised doctors note which is what I told the lady on the phone when I called, what I told the front office staff when I showed up and what I told the RN when I finally got called back to a room 45 minutes after the time my appt. was for so I got called back around 4:15. It’s been almost almost another 30 minutes since the RN left my room and said the doctor would be right in. I get it, emergencies happen but for the doctors in this building to waste my time instead of just calling and saying we’re behind schedule can you come in at this time instead is really frustrating and inconsiderate. Luckily the doctor finally came and was extremely surprised that they had me actually schedule an appt. just to get a revised doctors note that could have just been typed up and emailed to me. Finally getting out an hour and a half after my original appt. time.

I’m just saying this place absolutely blows worse chunks than after you eat Taco Bell. There’s only a few nurses, and doctors that have truly made a difference. If anyone tries to see anyone I recommend Dr. Kirkpatrick and you can’t go wrong with have Dennis And Fabian as nurses super nice guys ud83dudc4d
