Mohawk Restaurant

A must stop simply to see the interior. So many hides and stuffed things you don't know where to look. Plus the collections in the display cases. Just a fun stop. Friendly, welcoming staff make it a nice experience. Very reasonable prices. The food was perfectly fine and the coffee quite tasty. But the real reason to go there is to look around inside!

I posted a photo of what I received “to go” although no hope if a difference if I was In the restaurant honestly. The special for a weekday “Pot Roast with veggies and mashed potatoes with gravy” looks and tastes like something I could easily have gotten at the local hospital cafeteria, which sadly, is 50 miles away. Absolutely horrible and the girl on the phone was rude! I had to call twice to get any answers on their options after not finding it on their menu online. Just plain awful and disappointing. I have had their “Big One” cheeseburger and it was great! Which is why I gave 1 star. These people need to stick to burgers and tots, the only thing they are good at, like most middle of nowhere places. Don’t venture past that, you might get sick. I don’t appreciate paying $14.00 for canned peas and carrots, over cooked with Idaho instant potatoes flakes and canned gravy. The best part of the meal was the fresh(ish) salad and my son’s left over tots. Trust me! STICK WITH THE BURGERS!!!

The perfect place to stop on our road trip. We stopped overnight at Big Pine RV Park (also 5 stars) and had dinner at the Mohawk, then returned for breakfast the next morning. It was so good, on our way back through, we stopped again for breakfast! Will make it a regular stop traveling through Cresent, Or.

Great family restaurant with lots of history. Amazing customer service from our server/waiter. Food was great and prices were fair. Glad we made the drive from Odell Lake Resort. Very worth it!

Very good food nice atmosphere and interesting decorations with all the taxidermy and wildlife as well as the antique dishes in the shelves.. the waitress was nice n politely n quickly brought our food n drink order. .id go back
