Worked here under its old name for four years. Still amused that they had to change their name for some reason. Can't imagine why. LOL. Long story short I would not recommend working for these guys. See if you can find their old reviews.

I don’t really understand the good reviews for this place. They must have been in a different section of the facility than I was. The doctor who managed all of the patients in my section was extremely rude, unprofessional, and sexist. He was some old, foreign guy with a heavy accent I couldn’t understand. I don’t think they ever taught him basic manners wherever he trained as a doctor because he’d be writing on his forms while asking you questions during your “team meetings” and never once look you in the eye. During one meeting, the female social worker started asking me questions she had to ask to fill out some forms on how I was doing and whatnot as part of my treatment plan and the doctor rudely cut in and said it was unimportant and to do that later. None of the other female employees in the room - nurses and whatnot - backed her up. When another social worker pulled me aside to ask those same questions because the first one told her it wasn’t finished, she was “pleasantly surprised” that that was the reason why when I told her what happened. All of the nurses and counselors there didn’t seem very aware of how rude and unprofessional the doctor was, even when other patients told them about it (this happened during one group session I had).nnThe pavilion itself was very dreary on the inside with long, white hallways and no light since the hallway lights didn’t really light up all the way. Some areas looked dark. The dining area was under construction for part of the time I was there so everyone had to eat in a little 4x4 room until the second or third day I was there.nnFor the record, other facilities like this will check on you every fifteen minutes. They’re required to do so. If the nurses and counselors working with you are doing their jobs, they’ll ask you if you feel suicidal should that be the reason you’re at the facility. Overall, however, if you have any choice or ability to influence where you go (sometimes there’s no say because it depends on what place has beds available), just go to TaraVista. I spent a month there a year before I was in Haverhill Pavilion and they had multiple group sessions, team meetings where they made your feelings and input a priority, a nice facility that was only a few years old and was cleaned every other day, was handicap accessible, among other things. Everyone I met there was extremely kind and professional and genuine in their work and care for the patients.

This place is awesome it is what you make of it like anything else in life. Btw, this is the old WHITTIER PAVILION just in case anyone is wondering because it says closed when you look up WHITTIER PAVILION they just switched to HAVERHILL PAVILLION.
