Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Star Clinic Urgent Care

Two frustrating experiences at this facility.nI had an appointment set to establish as a new patient. Twice they called to reschedule putting me off for 3 months. I finally decided to not reschedule and go somewhere else as I had an issue that needed to be addressed.nnA month later my son had an appointment to establish new patient care. The dr arrived in the room, seemingly annoyed to be there. Asked my son if he had any questions. What?! Aren’t you as the dr supposed to create a dialogue, do an exam, run labs, establish care. He did have 2 health issues to discuss but was brushed off and was in and out of there in 20 minutes from start to finish.nnI have never posted a review but reading reviews has helped me navigate finding new doctors. I felt these experiences needed to be brought to others attention. Finding a doctor is important and both my and my sons time was wasted and put us back to square one. These were 2 different drs at the same facility so clearly there’s an issue.

Appointments made over a month ago, got a phone call canceling these appointments for myself and my husband, now we get a recorded message stating our appointment times and date (that they already called and cancelled)? Now the office is closed. So I called the one on Ten Mile and Cherry lane (where I rescheduled appointments for us) and spoke with Rachel and Heather), still no answer, ZERO customer service or concerns, ZERO worry that this is an important appointment for my husband. Will be changing completely and staying away from St. Al's...horrible timing and customer service classes should be given and these two should be required to retake it. UGH....

Dr. Graff and the staff at St. Al's Urgent Care in Star were fantastic! They took amazing care of our little 17 month old as he needed 6 stitches! We are so lucky to have their commitment to the community in the treasure valley! Thank you for all that you do :)

I stopped in to the Urgent Care, which is also my Primary Care’s office, on May 27 to examine a swollen and painful foot. My wife was with me to evaluate a sinus infection.nnThe manner in which we were screened and allowed entrance into the building was extremely efficient and professional as well as not being obtrusive.nnWe had our vitals taken by Candace as well as having her draw blood. She was extremely friendly and helpful in making sure that one was comfortable in the surroundings as well as the procedures.nnWe were than seen by Dr. Graff and it couldn’t have been a more pleasant and productive session.nnHe listened intently to our problems and gather our history of our issues. He was very thorough in giving us procedures for recovery as well as prescriptions.nnOur whole experience with this office, especially in light of the current pandemic, has been nothing short of miraculous.nnWe so appreciate all of the frontline personnel during this crisis and grateful to know that they are there to help us as well.nnGod bless!
