Simple but charming establishment. You can tell the owner is an artist by the cute decor. Colander lights, paintings and whimsy everywhere. There's nothing whimsical about the food here... pure down home comfort food like grandma used to make. I definitely recommend getting off the highway, going for a little drive and eating here! Chicken fried steak, chicken fingers, steak fingers, hamburger steak, hamburgers, breakfasts, salads, homemade pies, are just a few menu items i saw served that looked very yummy! They also have draft beer, and a good selection of other beer and wine. Definitely will go back.
We went here for the first time and it will not be our last time. The waitress was such a sweetheart and her Mom owned the place before leaving I asked the owner how I could go about getting a painted picture that a sixth grader had done she Tommy name and phone number and thought the art teacher said she had some prints of the painting and would call me and let me know if she was able to get me one. ud83dudc9cud83dudc9cud83dudc9cud83dudc9cud83dudc9cud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dudc4d five thumbs up.
My husband Frank loves it the portions are huge friendly people
Friendly service and one of the restaurants that still makes everything from scratch. I will be going back .
