The Popcorn Shop

I walked in here and the place was just so intriguing. Pop corn popping in the back that you can see in view, ladies working and one walked up to help me right away. Everything was displayed so beautifully. Made me want to buy a little of everything especially since it was so we'll priced. It was lovely, will be back.

This was my first time in the shop. My family has been many times. The girl working greeted from the backroom when we arrived and my brother mentioned it was my first time. When we had questions we had to yell for her since she never came out front until we were ready to check out. She was cordial but it would have been nice for her to talk about the different items offered in the store. We bought a couple different popcorn bags (huckleberry cheesecake and cocoa caramel coconut) and some caramels. They are really good (pacing myself so I can take some home). It is a little pricy but I like to support local businesses when I can as long as the product is good and the service is a well. Next time I'm in Poky I'll stop and try other flavors. I love popcorn.

Their huckleberry sampler is amazing! And awesome customer service! We ordered a the huckleberry sampler so that I could try it (my fiance always talks about their popcorn, she used to live near by and always talks about how great it is). Well she was not wrong! We are planning a wedding and she wants to do little bags as wedding gifts, I think after trying it myself im definitely on board. And along with the sampler, there was a few other items included and was a nice treat as well that we weren't expecting. Packaging was great, shipping was fast!

This is a cozy hole-in-the-wall shop. I was pleasantly surprised how many customers it attracts. The parking lot is a tiny one-way area to the side of the store, but there were customers coming and going almost constantly.nnThe staff was incredibly helpful and very cordial. One kind lady offered to be of service while I was perusing, and helpfully pointed out the customer favorites.nnThere are a large assortment of popcorn flavors. Many traditional ones, but several adventurous or seasonal ones. The supplies are rotated so you will likely see different flavors with each visit. All readers must try the dark chocolate sea salt carmel and the huckleberry cheesecake!nnI was informed that they normally have popcorn samples for patrons, though with the current Covid pandemic, they have temporarily removed that service.nnIn addition to bags (or cups) of popcorn, the shop sells several chocolate treats, such as: fudge, chocolate coated pretzels, delicious cinnamon almonds, and several other sweet (and some savory) items.nnIf you are in need of a nice gift, the shop has several cute and ready-made gift boxes with randomly assorted popcorn bags and other treats. You may select one of these, which ranges from $20-$50. Or the shop also has an online order form where you may request specific flavors in your gift box.

I haven't had Popcorn Kernel popcorn for years. It was a Christmas tradition to buy and eat bags of their popcorn. I was trying to come up with a novel present for family and friends. They have tins, bags, boxes of delicious popcorn. So now I'm set..just have to figure out which flavors to buy.
