Portneuf Medical Center- Emergency Room

My night started by checking into another hospital ER, I ended up leaving because I wasn’t seen by anybody.nnI got to Portneuf and ER staff was amazing. Once I found out Dr Curtis Sandy was working I was extremely relieved, I appreciate everybody that helped me from the ER to the OR.nnIt’s amazing to meet so many remarkable people working in the medical field that show compassion and concern. Thank you all!

I would give 0 starts if it were possible

This place use to be amazing when it came to being seen in the ER. They would take the time to try and figure out any problems you had, even come in the room on a regular to check on you. Not so much now they could really care less. They make you sit in a room and wait just to come in and tell you try these med and call your dr to see if they can figure it out. They are just rude and very un caring. When ever i have a problem i dread having to go to this place. Alot of them seem like they hate there job and are annoyed by people.

Went in to get a couple IV’s under my in network provider...portneuf medical center...then months later I get a bill that states the physician who cared for me wasn’t “in network”...because they are private contracts. I don’t have control over what doctor sees me in the ER. You just assume you are covered when you have a national health insurance and it’s “in network”. Be careful going to this emergency room. Portneuf needs to make sure their doctors and ER room are both covered with insurances, not just one or the other...ridiculous.

Worst experience of an era ever, the nurse was sympathetic but the doctors took forever and was a joke. Sent me home and I'm still having the same chronic pain
