I've been with this office for many years and gone through many doctors. Dr. Kennedy had been the best by far. I will never forget his humor and compassion towards so patients. The receptionist Debbie has always been consistent and great as well.nNot sad to see Dr. Nicholson gone, only because I rarely got a chance to visit him.nDr. Harris has been good so far, have met a couple of times and has always made sure to either keep in contact or make sure his nurse keeps in contact! Which she definitely gets a 5 star ⭐ review! Great employee!nI definitely recommend them for neurologist!nnDr. Kevin Hill is a waste of time though, for anyone going with a broken back or neck.

My daughter had her EEG done by Dr. Nicholson 3 weeks prior and the results never came. She called multiple times and was told to wait until the doctor was in to receive the results. They even told her that he would call on a Monday. However, the call never came, she luckily caught the doctor in today. However, when the doctor told her the results she was a bit confused by the abnormality found. Once she got home, she tried to explain it to me, I was also confused. We needed clarification, especially since myoclonus does not always mean epilepsy. So, why the medication?nOnce she hung up the phone and started to drive home the doctor’s office called again. Since she was driving she could not answer the call. She called back after she got home, and the receptionist Debbie was very rude. My daughter asked if she could get the results again over the phone (summarize it) so that she could better understand. Debbie said the doctor had to do it, but the doctor already gave her the results and she should not ask again! I heard her being rude to my daughter on the phone call, so I took the phone from my daughter. I explained that my daughter is very forgetful (hence the need for the neurologist). Debbie told me the doctor has other patients, and that he already took several minutes away from his other patients today to talk to my daughter. Debbie also said other rude things but the “doctor being too busy” stands out the most.nI have worked in the medical field now for 18 years. I have NEVER heard of a doctor refusing to call back to answer further questions on a test. My daughter had to make a follow up appointment just to get the results, and it is a 1-hour drive one way! Plus, we must now wait another two weeks after we have already waited three weeks.nThis is extremely poor patient care, I deal with a lot of doctors in my line of work, not to mention a lot of staff. Front staff is vital to patient care, especially since that is the first person they deal with. If the front staff shows unprofessionalism it reflects on the doctor. Not to mention, since there was an abnormality, it should not have been my daughter calling them multiple times. Plus, saying the doctor is too busy to clarify results on the phone reflects he cannot handle patient load and care. Answering questions is not only a responsibility but also a requirement of any test done.nOn the follow-up appointment I will be out of town, so will need to be on speaker. This is not only to fully understand the diagnosis but also to make sure she is getting the quality care we should expect from anyone with a medical license. I hope the staff is reprimanded for unprofessionalism and undergo further training. This way, there will not be another poor review. Doing a review has much more of an impact on future business by warning others to seek care elsewhere. Especially when the doctor himself was actually very nice to her, the words “I am too busy for you” did not come out of his mouth, it was his staff speaking for him. I hope we get answers soon, this interaction has only made things worse.
