People are great. Very knowledgeable about rocks and mining in area. Offer day trip to mines. Call first as area is next to White Sands Base and area subject to closings. You might see and hear latest aircraft including those from other world's, check out Trinity 33 Trading Post just down the road and on opposite side of street. Area has great sun set views and be prepared to meet travelers from all over the world and and beyond.

Great place to go digging and the entry fee of $20 is a bargain! The owners are really knowledgeable and friendly. Best rock hounding I’ve found so far in NM.

Nice selection. Lots of rocks and mineral. Fewer fossils. Great low dollar options for kids. Has trinitite.
