Horrible location for grooming. Serena F. did an awful job with my Yorkie nail cut service. She most certainly wasn’t trained properly. The nails were left too long, uncomfortable for my dog, with some nails longer than others. I do a better job trimming my dogs nails by myself. Total waste of a service, my time and money.

I was disappointed in the lack of animals for sale, there were only three or four hamsters and a few mice, though the fish selection was good. It took a while for us to find someone to help us but once we did, they were very helpful. All in all, a good trip.

The Santa Rosa Petco is a great place to shop for your pets needs... The grooming department is the best around, very caring and knowledgeable and always willing to go that extra mile to take care of you and you're pet, for me its my buddy Ranger...He feels very comfortable in the store and with all the girls in the grooming dept... They love him and treat him so good...

Great selection of pet supplies. I prefer the independent local stores as I usually get better customer service and like to support local business. I came here recently looking for pet clippers, and they were shockingly expensive. I walked around the store for 15 minutes and was never approached by a staff member. When I did ask for help the clerk was helpful. But typically staff don't go out of their way to help you. We've gotten vet shots here for our dog when their rolling service comes in. That was efficient and worth it. The fish and animals look a little sad, but maybe that's just me :) Lots of products to choose from when it comes to foods and toys and merchandise. They also offer dog washing and grooming services which I tried once, and it was decent. Again, not the friendliest staff but lots of stuff to choose from. I hear there are Petco's that have self-serve dog washing tubs that cost only $15 or so to bath your animal. A family member washed my dog at one, and my dog was the cleanest, best smelling and sooo soft - they must have great shampoo or conditioner. Plus industrial blow dryers and a great set up to do it yourself.
