Our first time venturing out during the pandemic was made exceptional by the Block Island Oyster Bar. We felt comfortable with the distancing of tables, masks worn by staff and patrons, etc. Hand sanitizer at the tables and at entrances.nnThe food was excellent. We had the shrimp tacos, NE lobster salad roll, mussels, Thai chicken wings, calamari, pot stickers. All were really really good. We also had the mudslides WITH the banana and floater. They were delicious!nnBest of all was our waitress, Gracie. Not only was she very attentive, made sure our needs were met, but she made all our little ones feel at home (two families of 5 kids under 7). So friendly and professional. It’s hard to come by those with strong work ethic these days. This is especially important when businesses are struggling to drive revenue. Thank you, Gracie, for a truly exceptional experience. They claim their hot lobster roll is the best on the island, but it's actually the best I've had anywhere ever!
Tough to find from shore, but this little spot is a MUST. Fantastic calamari, amazing hot lobster roll, and the tuna tacos were gone in seconds. Piña colada was outrageous too. Big win for us coming here
