Worst customer service just shut down the bank if you can't give me change. Very disappointed.
The other reviewers have it right. This staff is rude. I don’t know who the young lady was that took our call at roughly 8:35 AM on April 13, 2020 but she needs to find another line of work. I was trying to help my mom with her online banking and we needed a PIN reset. I was lodging a complaint about their 800 number banking system (which requires the PIN number we needed to have reset) and she cut me off mid sentence and abruptly said, “Is there anything else I can help you with?” Wow. I told my mom to transfer her money out of this so-called “bank” and go with a large institution that knows how to treat their customers right. PS— We tried to contact BB&T’s fraud department over the weekend because my mom thought her online banking had been hacked but since my elderly mother did not know her PIN number we couldn’t get anyone on the phone to help us. We tried multiple numbers and multiple prompts and could not get through to a live representative. What bank doesn’t have fraud representatives easily accessible 24 hours a day? Unbelievable.

They don't deserve the one star. If this was the last bank on Earth I wouldn't use them. The staff is rude. They will not do what they say they will (such as giving you a call when paperwork has gone through). BB&T will refuse to accept payment but then charge late fees. I thought the nightmare was over when I closed my account a year ago but it isn't.
