Brookdale hale me against my will for 2 days and some hours no one knew what the problem was the interns was guessing and so many diff ones came told me i was having a heart attack without even treating me when l told them l was wanted to leave cause l felt better told me l was not in the right state of mind and tried to hole me down to stick a needle in me for my own good called police over and 5 security guards to make sure to guard me from leaving had to run out when they wast looking then sent police to my home like I was wanted for a crime

My mom was brought here by the ambulance that picked her up from her home. She stayed there for about 5 days total. It's not her normal hospital that's at Jamaica hospital. I took the time to read a few comments before I posted mine and it was scary to see what people are writing. I can only go with my own experience. Staff seemed helpful most of the time.nnHospital can use a touch up job on equipment, decor and some staff members. You get better customer service from the older staff because they have more customer service experience and know how to respect more due to there up bringing at a different time. In today days, kids don't have much respect. Younger staff seems at time to reflect the neighborhood mood. From what I saw, the hospital has changed on some levels but still need improvement on many other. I know about this place for many years now. I use to live about 5 minute walk from here and know what I'm talking about.nnOne change that's needed badly is the neighborhood, it's ghetto fabulous. This is a major problem and seems to carry over to the mood of some of the younger staff and most people that bring an attitude that should be left home. Respect people and you will receive respect back. Major change starts within a person and then things around you will change as well. Tell me who you walk with, and I'll tell you who you are. Stop the negativity/drama and be positive/motivator. Be a leader and not a follower, so lead by example.

my mother was hospitalized at this hospital in November 2013. with a massive stroke thank god she came out of it. but they sent her home with nimmonia and a blood infection and no antibiotics. by Christmas eve she was dead, I have a lawsuit pending against this hospital. for medical negligence, I wouldn't take a dog to this hospital. The West Indian staff is very rude and unprofessional. This is the worst Hospital in Brooklyn, if you go to this Hospital you check in but you don't check out. If you don't want to end up in the morgue don't go to this Hospital. I am very surprised that the state of New York department of health. hasn't closed this Hospital down yet?

If you ever have to call and schedule an appointment, forget about it! They never answer the phone. I've been calling since 12pm this afternoon and its now 4pm. Im actually calling right now as i write this review and there still isn't any answer. It inconveniences me so much. When you eventually get an appointment its an all day thing. Don't think you'll schedule and early appointment and get to work by 3 because you won't be getting out of there till at least 5pm.nnI had to switch my OBGYN altogether because the doctor there was so rough and rushed I remember getting home and i was bleeding. She criticized when you answered questions she asked, I'm guessing because i look young she spoke to me as a child.nnReally just need to switch clinics altogether but i really like my primary doc. Its just the service there sucks!
