I was in salem for 5 days with my husband and we spent 2 nights in a row at the tavern on the green. Not only was it so cozy, our waitress and waiter were the sweetest and most attentive ever!!! Please do yourself a favor and get the baked brie appetizer and get the smashin pumpkins martini. The martini has a delicious caramel cinnamon sugar rim and, if you ask, they will put the same rim on the sam Adams octoberfest which my husband said was life changing.
Friendly service. My Hocus Pocus martini was just a dirty martini. It was supposed to have 3 gargonzola stuffed olives, came with 3 pimento olives. Best nachos I've ever had. Crab cake sandwich was just ok this time, better when I had it in the past. Chicken sandwich with some kind of red slaw, was not good. Burgers always good. Beautiful atmosphere, fire place and all
one of my home away from homes . they make the best garlic mashed potates in salem
