This is by far the best store in Rochester if you are an aquarist of any type! They have an incredible selection, their livestock is always healthy, they will be realistic with you about your selections and are always very informative and helpful. Along with the knowledge and free advice does come slightly higher prices then other places in Rochester, but in this hobby you get what you pay for... And I would rather pay a little bit more to know that my livestock, corals, and foods and hardware are top-notch and in the best shape they can be.
Hands down this is the best place to go for saltwater fish, corals and supplies. not to mention they have an amazing freshwater section. I have been coming to the reef shop for years and their staff is super friendly and informative. Tom the owner will go above and beyond to answer any question you may have and offer his expert opinion. they are not just trying to push products on you, they have your tanks best interest in mind. I'm so glad I have found these folks and will never stray
I did not purchase anything. The price on corals were priced high for my blood anyway. Then again i do bargain shop when it comes to corals. The salt water fish prices were more reasonable. They do have a wide selection! I was very impressed with their tanks! Makes me look forward to an upgrade. Also a very new clean shop.
I get all my fish here. Very clean tanks. All the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful coral as well. Love this place.
