Amazing amazing AMAZING food. Patio is great for the summer time, max has an excellent atrium to host gorgeous events in. Staff is always knowledgeable and they have an extensive wine menu. Desserts are always top notch and you can't get a better steak anywhere else in Rochester. Love love LOVE it here.

First of all I have been there several times and had an amazing meal every time. Last night after not going to restaurants in such a long time, Max’s was my first choice!nOur waitress was great! My friend took me for my birthday and I told her it is one of the best restaurants in Rochester.nShe ordered lamb chops and scallops. They forgot to put the third lamb chop on so she had them go back and make it and the scallops were way too fried.nI ordered flounder French and they forgot to cook it in the French sauce so I ordered sauce to put over it.nNext, we had the apple crisp with vanilla ice cream and Carmel sauce. The Carmel sauce was cold and crystallized.nI was so very disappointed and sad to see that an new opening was so unsatisfactory!nDena Kropman

My husband had the Veal Bolognese which was delicious. I had the Swordfish special which was a bit bland but cooked perfectly. Service was good as well as the Escargot starter.

Wonderful menu, it was hard to choose. The filet mignon on the bone was perfect medium rare! The chef sent a complimentary tuna tartare that was perfectly seasoned with sesame seeds. And I do not generally like seafood.

Love it. Been here a few times. Arguably the best restaurant in Rochester. Nice service team too
