This review is a reflection on my recent visit and not on my entire involvement with the Bank. That is at least a 4.8. I had an automobile loan through the bank. It came with a checking account. After paying off the loan, I did not use the checking account for sometime. Went to use it and found out it had been closed. I called customer service and reached a female representative. She was not polite and told me that since I had not used it there was a $12 plus in monthly fees charge that caused over draft and it had been closed. That fee would have to be paid. Wanted to ask another question called customer service a second time and a gentleman answered. Without my asking, he waived the fee and said I could open another checking account. Went to this branch to open another checking account and a female representative was so rude said I still had to pay the fee. Because of her attitude I left never to deal with Canandaigua Bank due to her rudeness. In the past had excellent service at this branch. After calming down went to another branch due to the past customer service I received from the bank. Not only was I able to open another checking account. They never even mentioned the $12 plus fee. So I am pleased with the bank just not this branch and the rude employee. I just will not go again to this branch.

Had check from a pawn shop went to cash the check and wouldnt cause my id is expired. Most ridculious thing ever my face looks the exact same, this is why I bank with esl. There STUPID imagine what there doing with your money

Rude staff, on multiple occasions. 1 Specific gentleman, never has counted my money back, and barely acknowledges me. Will definitely take my time and business elsewhere.
