Galley Restaurant & Bar

We were out in the lake for the day and called in an order to be picked up. The dock hands were very helpful in helping us tie up. The food was good, we ordered a bunch of appetizers and they were ready in about 30 min. Overall, would definitely come back to this place.

Hostess never looked up at us.

A friend and I met there for lunch. Between us we ordered a salad, a grilled turkey sandwich, and a bowl of soup. The soup came fairly quickly but then there was a really long delay for the rest, despite being the only two patrons. The quality of the food didn’t begin to justify the high prices charged. The final straw was having to constantly wave away flies while trying to eat. My friend and I will not be eating there again.

When we arrived there were only a few people in the restaurant. Service was very slow, one of us had the cowboy cut ribeye with house salad and onion rings. It was cooked well and tasted good. The other had the fried Haddock and french fries, the fish was over cooked and laid upon a plate of fries. There were so many fries it was challenging to be able to cut the fish without fries spraying all over the table! By the time we left the seàting outdoors was filling up and we had to wait nearly 30 minutes before the server came by to ask if we wanted desert. I said no and he asked if we were ready for our ticket. I said yes and he said he'd be right back with it. About 10min later my husband walked to the front of the restaurant and sat at the bar to wait for the ticket. There were 3 or 4 servers. When we left there were several tables filled outside and only a couple inside. the views from it are beautiful. It is part of a Marina. Perhaps the food is good or perhaps there are few options in town for dining. We are from out of state therefore will not be able to give this restaurant a second chance.
