Very helpful staff. They go out of their way to find you what you want. You can always find an awesome deal - maybe not what you went looking for originally. The location is perfect for stopping in to browse when you’re out doing other errands in the plaza, like shopping at Trader Joe”s, Staples or Rite Aid.

Love this show store. It now carries kids shoes as well. My greatest buy of all times were Kate Spade yellow and white slingbacks with a bow that were originally$495, yes $495, and I paid $59, yes I paid $59. They are my go to store for shoes first. Great free rewards program and you get special discounts on your birthday and additional coupons throughout the year. Great in- store assistance and friendly customer service. This applies to all DSWs I've visited.

I always find something that's my style

I am disgusted by the customer service at this store. I have had several issues with the DSW in Poughkeepsie where they have double charge my card for one pair of shoes. They have charged my card for socks that I never purchased. Today, I came to exchange a pair of shoes that were to wrong size to find out that DSW doesn’t do exchanges. So they decided to return the shoes and re-ring up the new pair of shoes. They did not ask if I wanted the return on a gift card or on the card it was purchased with. Clearly I am doing an exchange and everyone knows it takes 3-5 business days for the money to go back on the card which by the way this was a gift from someone so the money went on someone else card and isn’t available for today’s purchase. They should have asked first if I wanted a gift card or on the card it was purchased with. Michelle came to assist in which at the end of it she tried to make me feel bad saying we return the way it was purchased and that typically people come with other funds. Um, hello - it was a gift and I was exchanging for another size and I didn’t get it for the original price I bought it for. She also tried to make it seem like I was attacking her when she was trying to attack me and not own their errors.nnI had mentioned just doing a return at target and how I was returning something and getting a replacement of the same thing and they asked if i wanted a gift card or on the card it was purchased with and Michelle said well we aren’t target. I guess target knows how do handle customer service and DSW doesn’t. Instead of just saying your right we are wrong for acknowledging they didn’t handle the return/exchange the best way that they can to make it easier and didn’t want to try to do anything to make it better.
