Vanderbilt Lakeside Bar Room & Guesthouse

A charming little inn with a small restaurant and full service bar. The limited menu has enough offerings to please any taste. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. The rooms are clean and modern but generally don't have TV's or fridges. Overall a pleasing experience!

Stayed 2 nights and dinner was so good first night (duck and 5 kinds of zucchini) we ate there the second time (fish delish!) The couple who run it are just the best and it feels like family, (if your family ran a 5 star hotel!) So beautiful to eat dinner outside, and take breakfast by the lake. Saw heron and a few duck that I didn't eat! Amazing break! Perfect! Thanks!

This place is fantastic! We stayed here for one night and absolutely loved it. The service was great and the bed was very comfortable. Also the drinks was spot on! If I could I would come back next weekend!

We had an awesome weekend at Vanderbilt Lakeside and look forward to returning soon! The entire place is cozy, inviting, and comfortable. From the guest rooms to the game room to the fire pit to the canoe -- everything about our stay was perfect! We ate dinner in the restaurant two nights in a row and everything was fresh and delicious! To top it all off, everyone we met was welcoming and accommodating. If you're looking for an easy escape from the city, the drive was quick and easy and there was so much to do. I highly recommend staying or dining here!

Stayed for one night in January to celebrate my anniversary. We found the space to be very stylish and well appointed. The bed was comfy, but low to the floor the room we stayed in (#1). Fine for us but maybe not for the elderly. The manager assured me other rooms have higher beds. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed our meal. Breakfast was lovely too. Service was attentive. Looking forward to returning when it’s warmer to enjoy dining outside and relaxing by the fire. A great value in the Hudson area....much better than an Airbnb.
