Service was awesome. The setting is great . The food wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. My wife's French onion soup was lacking in flavor and the noodles in the pasta plate I ordered where overcooked. We came with high expectations due to the reputation the sylvan street has and it delivered pretty much everywhere except on our plates unfortunately.
Excellent service. Food is very good. Get the bread with oil. Delicious! Two outdoor patios with heaters.
We came in for lunch. No wait. Location had everyone distanced and we felt safe throughout the visit. Everything was clean.nFood came out quickly today. A visit prior to Covid had a wait but the restaurant was packed.nCheesy Buffalo-mac and chicken parmesan. Food was hot and delicious. Server was great! The food runner was also really nice. Great visit!

No cheap card table quality table and chairs.nnThey offered gluten free entrees which is another bonus! I had the stir fry, delicious !nnHubby had a scallop with crab casserole, he enjoyed every mouthfulnnThe boys had chicken fingers with fries and a bacon burger with friesnnEveryone left full and happynnWe will be back
This is at least a yearly visit. Its how my better half and I celebrate our dating anniversary. We reconnected after 40 years, 2 years ago at the Sylvan Street Grill in Peabody.
