TLDR: Great food, great atmosphere, social distancing and masks were well done, a fantastic experience!nnDetails: Set in a beautiful old building that has been carefully and beautifully done to preserve the feel but make it warm, inviting, and clean inside, you'll be greeted warmly, and taken to a great table. I've only been there once, but a good friend has been raving about them for years. The service was excellent, and they have a wide selection of food choices. You can expect to pay a reasonable price for outstanding food, but it was not overpriced considering what we were served. If your looking for typical American food, in a cozy antique setting you can't go wrong with a visit to the Common Man.

As always great food and service for over 48 years now this restaurant has been the best even used it for my wedding reception the year 1990. Spent a number of years in the kitchen on Christmas Day as Mr Ray carved for all the guests celebrating as my children did . I remain thankful to Alex Ray for his kindness after the earthquake in Haiti and his relief service there as my daughter was caught there in the midst of it during the earthquake at the time. Absolutely awesome restaurant! This is the third different common man location we have been to and as usual we can't say enough about it. I'd give it 10 stars if we could. The food is so unique, fresh, well priced, and prepared very quickly. The buildings are always so unique and cozy and The workers are always quick, polite, and very personable. Definitely recommend this location as well as all other common man restaurants. You won't be disappointed!

Rustic, just absolutely one of my all-time favorite restaurants to patronize away from home! For 17 years we ate there whenever we were at our time shares @ Waterville Valley, circa 1983-2000, several times a year.nWish I was there right now!
