Their customer service is beyond pathetic, it is unbelievable. I had a foreign check, it was good. I had 2 conversations with the First State bank employees about this check, then a guy by the name of Nick Verbo said he would put it through collections after he interrogated me about the check. I waited 5 months for this check, it really didn't concern him where it came from, just that it was good. Well later the following week the bank told me the check was fraud, so I was like ok anything is possible. The teller said I should receive a letter in 2 or so weeks with more information on the checknnI contact the business and ask them about it and they ask for me to take a picture of the check it will be stamped fraudulent. I wait more time passes, I then call this Nick Verbo and he completely ignores my voice mail. A few weeks later I get a hold of this busy man, and he tells me he shredded the check, with out any acknowledgement on my end. I waited 5 months for this check, and for him to just shred it with out telling me, shows what they think of their customers. I was fine waiting the check clearing process and emphatically stated so. Luckily I'll still be able to receive the money on this check, but at the expense of a 250 stop check fee.
