Excellent bar food!
I'd give it Five Stars, but No Alcohol due to a Transfer in Ownership / Liquor License Delays. Boo. But Food Was Fantastic, Service Was Excellent.
Awesome fish and chips. Great atmosphere inside... friendly service. A must try.
I have been coming here for a long time. We sit at the bar and it’s always nice to see Doug. He is friendly and professional. I went the other day and Alex was bartending. He was also very on top of things and friendly. They have a new menu and so many things looked really good along with the old standbys that have been tweaked by the new chef. I had the fish and chips and they did not disappoint. The fish tasted nice and fresh and the batter with light with what seemed like a lemon flavor enhancing it just enough. Out of habit I asked for a side of tarter sauce. After the third bite with the tarter sauce it was clear that it wasn’t needed. The atmosphere is always nice and cozy with the fireplace. I definitely recommend and looking forward to going back!
My families favorite pub. We always go here straight off the ferry for beers and dinner! Cozy vibe and great in the winter.
