Kool laid back place
Been to the Tavern many times. Today we got there about noon for bingo. Got a table against the wall by the bar. We got our drinks and food, but had to ask every time. Finally at 3 we got waited on for the first time to see if we wanted our check. It's a good place but Jenae let us down today. She would come around but stop and turn around before she got to us. We love the manager Mandy, but feel this is necessary to say.
Solid pub grub... Sandwiches, burgers, fries and more. Our cheese curds were sitting in liquid oil and my burger patties seemed frozen rather than fresh...those were slight turn-offs. My daughter's club sandwich was well prepared with generous portions of meat. The service was a little spotty. We waited quite a while for the hostess to come seat us.
Terrible service. Had a large group, called first to make sure they could accommodate. Other patrons had come in, ordered, ate and left before our food order was even taken. 40 min for our drink order and more than an hour for our food order to be taken. Asked for drink refills never even received them, charged for food item never received.. Very disappointing. No apology from the server either about the poor service.
