Great service, great food. This was my second trip and enjoyed it. The price is a little high maybe, but the food was delicious and the portion size filled me up. Those tater tots are something special too! And I was happy to have a very spicy bloody to kick it off.nnDon't be fooled by this place being sort of tucked away in a strip mall, it was easily better than the average American food restaurant, I will definitely return.

Great service and food. I had the walleye tacos, excellent! My son loved the burger. My husband had a good steak salad. It's not a chain. Everything is hand crafted, and all around good place to go for lunch or dinner.

Good, friendly service. Food was good, but could have been hotter. I had meatloaf which tasted good but should have been hotter and the mashed potatoes were just warm enough to not be sent back for being cold. Would have been 5 stars if the food temp was better. The Tavern old fashioned was very well made.

I got a black bean burger with a side of fresh fruit for carry out. It was ready right on time, and the fresh fruit was really fresh and very good. My only issue was getting a couple pieces of bacon on my burger which was supposed to be meat free. I don’t eat pork, so it was kind of off putting. The taste of the burger before I had any bacon was pretty good though. The burger itself was falling apart when I opened the box, so I didn’t like that. It seems like they make their own pickles though, so that’s a plus!

I hadn't been to tavern 4 and 5 since the pandemic began. I was out with my daughter and she was looking for a great salad or great chili I told her we should go to tavern 4 and 5, that I'd never had anything there that wasn't a 10, even though four and five only equals nine ud83eudd23ud83dude02nnAfter she didn't laugh at my wonderful humor, she agreed and we decided to go to have lunch, I had not made reservation, it was 2:00 on a Saturday, and they were busy but they found a place for us to set that was safe and sanitary.nnAll I can say is wow, we sat at the bar, and the person that took care of us was fantastic, happy told us all about the menu and directed us to just fantastic items. I asked her if my dish was at least an 11 on a scale of 10 She promised me it was.. She made the same promise to my daughter on her salad, and I have to say both of them were fantastic.nnYou really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, and I felt so safe and could see all of the wonderful process and procedure they were using to ensure the safety of their guests that I would definitely head back to this restaurant in the pandemic, and of course after it's over.nnHope you go give it a try, you will not be sorry!
