Had the fish dinner. It was terrible. Fish was left in the deep fryer too long. Tartar sauce was tasteless. Cole slaw was extremely dry. Cheesy potatoes were awful. Roll was very hard and dry. Drink was good. Service was good. I would go back there but I'd never order the fish dinner again. The fish dinner used to be delicious. I don't know what happened. Very disappointed.
This bar-restaurant is a great place to eat and socialize...connected withnMont du Lac..but the entrance is about 1000 west of the ski hill...it's a part of a short strip of land, in Minnesota that is actually in Wisconsin...You enter thru the bar and find a table...most have seating for 6. Tables are close together which makes it nice to visit with other guests...there are 4 gaming machines, and a pool table. The ladies' room is small but adequate....Took a little while to receive a fried Denver sandwich, and a Bacon cheeseburger..each with crispy fries...and they were delicious...The bartender wore 2 hats.. the bar and wait staff..very friendly....Good place to eat...specials on Wednesdays...
We came in with a rather large group 14 or 15 after snow tubing. Our server did an excellent job accommodating us. Service was great and our food was delicious!
Simple cheeseburger with homemade fries, amazing taste and portion for cost, awesome service, drinks refilled/replaced quickly, friendly service and quick table cleanup while we hung out.
Great burgers and fries. Bartender was a sweetie. Will definitely return.
