Too bad they're closing, great shop with great people
I recently had a very positive experience at the pet value store in Pawtucket. My husband and I went into the store to inquire about various types of bird food. The young woman who helped us, Emma, was so friendly, receptive, welcoming, knowledgeable and patient with our many questions. Shopping at this well-stocked, inviting store was a much more enjoyable experience than shopping at some of the larger chain pet stores. In addition, during these COVID-19 times, my husband and I felt completely safe being inside the store.
Always a good experience. The dogs know exactly where they are when we pull in the lot. They practically bum-rush me out of the car and to the door of the store. Staff is friendly, helpful and always so nice to the dogs. We go mostly for PetValue's self-dog wash which is great. Bumble Bee gets so grubby rolling in the dirt at the dog park. Usually, we bring our own shampoo but during this time of Covid-19, we're asked to use the provided shampoo and it's fine. The tub was clean and after we were done, the manager had Bumble Bee's after bath treat waiting for her at the register! It's so nice to have a place for the dog's needs in the neighborhood and off the busy golden shopping mile where the traffic is.
Great local store. Went to an adoption event at this location. Staff were really friendly. Emma in particular was extremely helpful and d knowledgeable on what I would need to get for my puppers, everything from the harness, to what she would need to chew on to commands. I really value not only this store but Emma not just as a worker but an incredible human being who clearly is very passionate about what she does. If I could give more stars i would!
Went all the way there for a self wash appointment and when I got there I was told the dryers were off limits. Not being able to dry my husky....ya I can do that for free at home
