This young Dr is a “judge a book by its cover” type of Dr, which means he thinks that any issue you may have will be painted on your forehead. This young man said that what I am going thru, symptoms etc... is “normal” he proceeded to act as if he knew all and kept telling me “it doesn’t work like that” “it doesn’t do that” so on and so fourth while telling him what’s going on and acting as if I wasn’t actually going thru anything and that it is all in my head. I said ok than you seen to know “it’s not an infection “ prove it. How do you know that what issue I’m having that the symptoms go away when On Augmentin and when the script is gone, the symptoms come back.i asked what else is treated with an antibiotic in amoxicillin form that would work like that? He said “nothing, because it doesn’t work like that”. I said few other things and he treated me as if I was making up my symptoms and said, (as I’m clearly desperate for answers) “we’re not getting anywhere here. I want to see you off the antibiotics” I said I can’t even get out of bed let alone drive here.” So he said something about video visit and left the room. I had shown him a picture of my face before I was on antibiotics and how swollen and bad I looked and he said there was nothing wrong with it. He is new age Dr who clearly does it for money and doesn’t want to work hard to find out issues and proved that if it’s not visible to him that there isn’t anything wrong with you. He acts as if he knows all about everything I had mentioned to him with reputable sources and such telling me “ it sounds like you need to stop reading so much” well with Drs like him, you have to do your own research to not tuck your tail and lay there to die. My issue is debilitating and this man was extremely unhelpful and demeaning. If you don’t have proof of the issue written in red for him to see and is already done for him, don’t waste your time. I had so much hope after a year of fighting my symptoms and issues until talking with such a cold hearted narcissistic man like him. He’s disrespectful know it all and doesn’t give a care in the world what you’re dealing with if he can’t see it on the outside. Don’t waste your time or money on this Quaker jack.
