Jury is still out. I’ve had several mortgages and accounts with this credit union. Each time I feel like I am just treated as a number. Regular clerical errors on documents, calling me by the wrong name, bait and switch situations to get a loan closed. I keep the accounts because I invested so much into their mortgage fees. I keep all my savings and investments elsewhere simply because I don’t really trust them.
Friendly, easy to work with. Even the reps on 800# give me great info when I need it. They make things happen.
I had a family member that tried getting a job with their cleaning contractors, did you know a bank is too cheap to hire a good enough contractor company that will use any cleaning chemicals? They just use water to wipe their bathrooms down. Really gross if you ask me.
Yeah they've definitely don't tell you before they run their credit check and then try to get you to sign it like you give them authorization first but you didn't. Was a customer for over 9 years because my family was. Never very helpful but that's usually how big corporations are. Very clean and some What fast service.
Great credit union for all your banking needs. Lots of branches located in the greater Lansing area and beyond.
