We just bought a house in Maine and the sellers left a note saying that we had to check out John’s, stating that it was the worlds best ice cream. I now believe that to be true. Excellent flavors, great sundae and banana split. The real cherry instead of the maraschino cherry threw me off on the sundae a bit, but is was great. Looking forward to going back again!
Oh my goodness! Homemade authentic flavors! I had chocolate/raspberry and it had loads of real whole raspberries- very fresh delicious ice cream!

Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Great flavor and texture, unique menu with the old faithful favorites also. Their waffle cones are home-made and delicious too. Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area and worth the trip if you're not.
Best ice cream around! I mean how can you go wrong with locally owned and operated not to mention that the ice cream is made right there in house!! Delicious flavors and a large selection of them 'ta boot!!
