We went on a Friday night so one would expect a wait but this wait seemed longer than most. The waiter even went to see what took so long. I'll have to say the food was good though. Most order pizza here but we got burgers and wraps. It seems like a local hangout for the college students. It may be a different atmosphere on a non-weekend day.
Update during covid times: Really, really disappointing experiences. Was a favorite place of ours, especially with out of town guests. Our last five visits have had so many problems I won't have enough room here or time to explain. Everything that could go wrong, has. It's off the list for now but something might change. We want to like Portland Pie.nnShout out to the wonderful manager who comped the one disgusting order. Manager promised us that the wait person would not be charged for the dinner.nn******nnAlways good. Always friendly. Great beer. Best Maine style pizza.
The best pizza I've had since I was a child. The sauce is incredible. The fries baked in the same oven as the pizza makes me never want to eat deep fried French fries again. Our waiter Zack was so pleasant & kind. He was tipped well for his excellent customer service.
Food was good, except for the chicken alfredo, kinda like a microwave meal to be brutally honest. Staff is awesome, drinks are just okay, don't get sangria it's not real. Cheesy bread is really good, I recommend the pesto, and I bet the pizza is good. I would go again, thanks guys!
It’s a Friday night, they’re naturally busy. We called around 6:30 and ordered two pizzas for pickup, about a 40 minute wait, no biggie. The guy on the phone was clearly busy but was super patient and great. When you get there, you wait outside and someone will come out and either go check for your takeout or seat you. The two girls running the front were HUSTLING. Answering phones, taking payments, running receipts in and out, bringing orders out. Without a doubt doing everything in they could to make things move along quickly. I only waited about 5 minutes total from when I arrived outside to when I left with my pizzas. The pizzas were delicious, flavorful, and exactly what we ordered. I am really impressed and grateful for the lengths that these folks are going to in order to keep everyone safe. Considering the times that we are in the middle of, they are doing a phenomenal job and I love living so close to good pizza. Thank you guys!
