Putnam County Hospital

Been in Putnam co for 20 years and generally I don't fancy this er. But I have been to prompt care twice while this pandemic has been going on, and both times they were super nice. They had a lot of good staff and helped me figure something out that's been affecting me my whole life.nThere will always be horror stories. But this hospital has far less than that of hospitals in Indy.nAlso, Hendricks county hospital tried to force me to put a mask on my 4 month adjusted baby with chronic lung disease. Putnam has never and would never.

I had an amazing experience with this hospital. I was coming in due to my horrid allergies and my severe allergic reaction. I was in tears and everyone made me feel so safe and well taken care of! The staff are friendly, the nurses are so caring and sweet, and I felt safe and comfortable! Thank you guys so much! ❤ufe0fud83dudc4fud83cudffc

I had an appointment today in Cardio Rehab. I was told I had to register (emergency room waiting area) & there was a man waiting for them to take him back. He was shivering violently & then started coughing so hard & loud it sounded like a seal barking. I was given a number & told to wait where the VERY SICK MAN was, for the one woman working to call my numbern& get me registered. My husband & I both have heart problems & COPD so I left. WHY do clinic & radiology patients have to register & wait with sick People going to the ER, especially in light of the COVID epidemic going on??? Highly unprofessional.

Staff is very unfriendly.. if I need medical assistance I'd suggest driving to Danville or terre haute.

There was conversation in ear shot about tech knowing what she was doing. Made me ineasy
